Tomatoes are taboo for people with acid reflux. In this video I show you a very easy recipe to make GERD-friendly pasta sauce. All you will need is 5 whole carrots, chicken broth, and one whole shallot. Note: shallots are very low in acid compared to yellow onions but can still be acidic when eaten raw. This sauce is intended to be used for cooking. Cooking with the sauce will remove what little acid the shallot has.
