Lentil soup with warm cheesy bread is a filling, nutritious, and simple recipe to make. Not only is it delicious but it is also extremely cost-effective to make. This recipe is a modified one from more traditional lentil soups since I do not include any lemon or any “non-acid reflux friendly”, stronger spices. I do not experience any heartburn with this meal, which makes it a frequent go-to meal for me, especially since it allows me to mix-up my meals with flavors that aren’t as typical for acid-reflux meal suggestions.
‣ Red lentils (orange in color)
‣ Medium or large carrots
‣ Black pepper
‣ Cube or packet of chicken bouillon
‣ Small tortillas
‣ Mozzarella cheese
‣ White rice (small amount)
